Isabel Plowden

Sources disagree about her place in the Plowden family. Cedwyn MS 1633 gives her name as Elizabeth and father's name as Humphrey (who would be an undocumented collateral member of the family); Vis. Shropshire 1623 gives her name as Isabel (which was interchangeable with Elizabeth at that time) and her father's name as Edward. (If that was Edward the brick-thrower of 1462, he must have got off with no worse than a heavy fine for misconduct.)
