Isabel Trye

Isabel Berkeley was the daughter of James de Berkeley, 6th Lord Berkeley, and wife Isabel Mowbray. She was born between 1430 and 1438 in Berkeley, Gloucestershire, England. She died before September 3, 1482. Isabel married William Trye, Esq., in 1464 in Hardwicke, Gloucestershire, England.He was born in Hardwicke c.1425 and died December 6, 1497.

Many texts show Isabel's surname as de Berkeley. In the Visitation of the County of Gloucester taken in the Year 1623, her name is shown as Barkely. One source shows a date of birth as 1422, which is likely too early; she would have been 45 at the birth of son William.
