Isabella B. Knox was born on March 23, 1829 in Lebanon, York County, Maine (a).

Isabella married Ephraim Knight Knox. At the time of their marriage, they returned to Ossipee from Boston, Massachusetts, and settled on her husband's ancestral homestead where he carried on an extensive and profitable business in farming and lumbering.

They became the parents of William M. (1849); Charles Edward (1851 in Maine); Alvah H. (1855); Herbert E. (1858); Myra Francis (1861); and Manville Ephraim (1867) Knox.

On October 9, 1902, her husband, Ephraim, died at age 79 in Ossipee, Carroll County, New Hampshire.

On April 22, 1911, Isabella B. Knox died at age 82.
