Isaiah Francis Churchill

Isaiah Francis Churchill was the son of Isiah and Polly (Parker) Churchill, the twin brother of Edmund F. Churchill and brother of Frederick Churchill, both of Co. E, 18th Mass. Infantry.

A 20 year-old Farmer from Plympton, MA, he enlisted at Boston on August 9, 1862 and was mustered that same day into the 18th Mass. Infantry as a Private in Co. E. He was discharged due to disability at Potomac Creek, VA on Dec. 13, 1862. Churchill enlisted for a second time on July 14, 1864 and was mustered in on July 18, 1864 as a Private in Co. A, 60th Mass. Infantry. He was mustered out with the regiment after completion of its 100 day term of service.
