About Israel Greisman
TORONTO RESIDENT 35 YEARS Mr Israel Greisman died on Monday at his home 77 Hilton avenue after a long illness, He was 55 years of age and a resident of Toronto for over 35 years. He was a prominent member of McCaul and Chestnit street synagogues and of numerous societies. Mr Greisman is survived by his six children: Mrs M Appelle of Los Angeles, Mrs CH Shalit of Detroit Mich, Sara, Betty and Ann at home and one son, Samuel Harold, and 3 grandchildren.

Late Israel Greisman Leaves Clause in Will Providing for Repetition of "Kadish" on Anniversary of His Death for Next Fifteen Years
"I direct that my executors set aside $15 each year for 15 years to pay for the cecital of the Jewish prayer known as "Kadish" on the anniversary of my death"
This clause is contained in the will of Israel Greisman, real estate dealer, who died on February 25, last year, leaving $149,650. His will, executed on Jan 2nd last has been probated upon the application of Isidore Finberg and Joseph Schwartz, with the right reserved for Samuel Greisman, the son, to apply upon attaining his majority.
Beneficiaries and amounts of their bequests are included: To Harry Greisman, a brother living in Poland $200; to the Toronto Jewish Hospital, $100; to Sara Greisman, a daughter, Toronto, $25,292; to Betty Greisman, a daughter Toronto, $23,292, cash; to Ann Greisman, a daughter, Toronto, $23,292; to Samuel Greisman, his son, Toronto, $30,365 cash.
Testator directs that the unmarried children have the use of his late residence at 77 Hilton ave, and that the funds be set aside for their maintenance, support and education while unmarried.
