Israel Robeson wrote his will on 1 March 1769, and it was proved in court on 1 June 1774. He named his children:
(1) eldest son Israel Robeson
(2) second son Moses Robeson, and his daughter Mary Robeson
(3) third son Sylvanus Robeson
(4) eldest daughter Mary [Robeson] Bird, deceased by 1769, wife of Burgeon Bird
(5) second daughter Ann [Robeson] Walters
(6) third daughter Christian [Robeson] Rue, wife of Joseph Rue
(7) fourth daughter Eleanor Robeson, wife of David Robeson, and her daughter Margaret Hinton, under age 18 in 1769

His father was Andrew Robeson a Chief Justice in Pennsylvania's Supreme Court and his mother was Magdalana Buchman. Andrew Robeson's daughter married Mordecai Lincoln a ancestor of President Abraham Lincoln according to THE History Of The Lincoln Family an Account of Descendant Samuel Lincoln. Israel Robeson was also a friend of Mordecai Lincoln as he is listed on his last will and testament as a witness Feb 22, 1735, page 48. The page before lists John Robeson as being his close friend. Andrew's daughter Hannah married Mordecai Lincoln pages 48-52. Israel had a son Moses Robeson who was married to Christiana Lane.
