Svinhufvud Family, by The Swedish Biographical Lexicon

Volume 35 (2020-), page 23.

Jöns Swinshwoth (i.e. Svinshuvud) (Berglund et al 2008) bought Höjen and Stämnarvet in Torsångs parish (now Stora Kopparbergs parish) in 1386. He was probably the father of the vicar in Hedemora Dan Jönsson (mentioned 1405–27) and the miner at Kopparberget Hans Jönsson (mentioned 1434–40), who according to preserved seals both bore the pig's head coat of arms.

Hans Jönsson was very likely the father of the miner at Kopparberget Jöns Hansson (mentioned 1450–52) on Höjen. He is mentioned in 1452 as the brother of Gudlög Hansdotter , married to Jakob Henriksson Simla (five-pointed star), from whom the noble family Ekeblad (vol. 12) , which became extinct in the 19th century, descended on the paternal side.

According to Rasmus Ludvigsson's (bd 29) , the largest family book now only known through old copies (E 8676), the above-mentioned Jöns Hansson was the father of the judge Knut Jönsson (d at the earliest in 1507) at Höjen, who carried the pig's head coat of arms. His brother (E 8676) Hinse Jönsson (d sometime between 1485–91) at Stämnarvet became the grandfather of the councilors Axel and Knut Anderssöner (Lillie; bd 23) .
