Jüri Markus (ka Georg Markus; 28. november (vkj)/ 10. detsember 1876 Kabala vald, Pilistvere kihelkond, Viljandimaa – 31. detsember 1931 Tallinn) oli eesti näitleja ja teatritegelane.
Jüri (*Jürri, Jürri, Jüri, georg) Markus. *28.11/10.12.1876 (by mistake 23.12) in the morning in Tikkani farm. (*)26.12.1876 in Pilistvere congregation. G: farm hand Mihkel Vilms, farm hand Peeter Markus, maid Anu Vilms. [1876-1899 lived at first in Tikkani farm, then in Leiso farm, single]. Confirmed 1892 in Pilistvere congregation. According to the Biographical Lexicon of Estonian Theatre he studied in Türi-Alliku Ministry School and also took accounting courses in Tallinn. He acquired schoolteacher's profession in 1895. In he 1899 left Pilistvere congregation and joined with Anna congregation. [1899-1900 lived at first in Mustla md, then in Purdi md, a schoolteacher]. 1900 left Anna congregation with his whole family and joined with Tallinn Püha Vaimu congregation. [1900-1913 lived in Tallinn]. In the register of parishioners of Tallinna Püha Vaimu congregation there is a remark "friend of [newspaper] Teataja, writer [=secretary] of Luiscasse(?)1" (Teataja Freund! Schreiber in d. Luiscasse(?)). 1901-1902 stage manager of theatre company "Lootus", 1905-1907 a member of the committee of theatre company "Estonia", he was also the theatre's manager of finances, prompter and actor. He also translated ca 15 plays (by Canth, Ibsen, Halbe, Hauptmann). 1913 left with family Tallinna Püha Vaimu congregation and joined with Tartu Pauluse congregation. [1913-1916- lived in Tartu]. 1916 left from Tartu Pauluse congregation and joined with Tartu Peetri congregation's 2nd subcongregation. -1928- lived in Kohtla-Järve miners house No 80-2, was an accountant. Family pages of Jüri Markus were kept in Kohtla commune family registers (1926-1949), but these documents were destroyed during World War II. -1931 lived in Tallinn Nõmme at Raudtee 57-2. His death was reported by Johanna Elisabeth Markus. His death certificate was given to an attorney H. Nottbeck on 8.08.1932 according to a request fro Tallinn 9th district peace jugde. +31.12.1931 in Tallinn Nõmme. (+)03.01.1932 to Tallinn Hiiu-Rahu cemetery, row 18. He was buried in a row burial (i.e. he did not have a separate plot and probably does not have a headstone). His obituary was published in Päevaleht on 05.01.1933 (sic!).

Tõlkis „Estonia“ teatrile 14 näidendit, millest 3 ilmusid Tallinnas trükis: M. Scumanni „Potivari naine“ 1902, H. Ibsen „Seltskonna toed“ 1902, G. Haupmanni „Elga“ 1906. Peale selle tõlkis ajalehtedele „Valgus“ ja „Virulane“ jutte ja romaane. Kohtla-Järvel elamise ajal organiseeris 1923, 1924 ja 1926 „Estonia“ teatri ringsõitude ajal kohapeal teatrirahva vastuvõtmise ja etenduste andmise. Kuulus 1920daist Pan-Euroopa ühingusse.
