Family Note: Under the wing of David Belasco, it has been suggested that J.H. Benrimo's zeal and interest in 'Asian Theater', may have influenced Belasco in creating the stage play "Madame Butterfly". It is not known if Belasco consulted directly or indirectly with Benrimo in the creating of the stage play.
