Jaco Billy (48), was found dead, with a gunshot wound to his lower body, in his home in Homelake on Saturday March 30th, by a family member and a security officer. Randfontein police spokesman Sergeant Carmen Hendricks said the murder was committed at Linda Court in Fredalaan. "At about 9.50am, emergency services were called to the scene and the victim was pronounced dead at the scene. An empty cartridge cap was found next to him,” she said. She added that the motive for the murder is still unknown. Morne Jooste, his brother, said Jaco previously worked at the pawnshop in Randgate.
