Jacob Hendricks (Hafte) said born in Haaften, Holland 11 Dec. 1642. He is recorded as Jacob Hendricks, children are called Hafte/Haste. Jacob Hendrix arr. 1663 on the ship Rosenboom, he is recorded nephew of Adriaen Lammertsen. Jacob Hendricks marr. 1) Geesje Baertelt no marriage date Will of "Jabeeg Hendrickse and Gesie Baertel" his wife 12 July 1677 (NYGBS record v. 47 Flatbush town liber D p. 351)

• Record 29 Aug. 1684 naming Hillegonde Jacops 11 years, Hendrikje Jacops 9 years, Bartel Jacops 7 years procured by Geesje Bartelt
• Geesje Bartelt died after 27 May 1683 (baptisms of last child) "Cornelia" sponsors are Hendrik Willems (van Boerum) and Maria Adriaens his wife, so Jacob would be cousin to Maria Adriaens.
• Jacob Hendricks marr. in 1684 Catherine de Beauvois
• The Census of 1698 shows Jacob Hendrickse with 1 man, 1 woman and 6 children
• Catharina de Beauvay is recorded as " widow of Jacob Haften" in an inheritance document in 28 April 1719 (Regionaal Archief Leiden, Toegangnumber 0518, inventarisnumber 2593g)
