Jacob (Jaap) Delden

His mother was Judith Pais-Hofman, his father was Elie Pais. Judith was married with Salomon Delden and on 8th of July 1943 their son Jacob Delden was born. Three weeks later this three persons were picked up from their house, the baby was brought tithe ‘crèche’ opposite the Hollandsche Schouwburg were the parents were brought to. They were send to Westerbork and a week later to Auschwitz-Birkenau were Salomon Delden was murdered in the gaschamber. After 1945 Judith met Elie Pais who Lost his wife and 4 children in Auschwitz-Birkenau and they found Jacob Delden back, during 1943 and 1945 he was at a family in Brunssum in the south of the Netherlands. Judith Hofman and Elie Pais married in 1946 and they got 3 children. Jacob (Jaap or Tonny) married with Els Sieckmeijer in 1965, they got a son in 1970 and a daughter in 1977. Jacob Delden, died on 27th of February 2017.
