Jacob Pressey, Sr

Biography

Jacob jr Pressey was born on December 3, 1732, in Amesbury Town, Massachusetts, the son of Ms. Ruth and Jacob.[1] He married Mary Hodgkins (1732-) on February 22, 1758, in Amesbury Town, Massachusetts.[2] They had eight children:

Mary (1760–1843)
William (1762–1820)
Benjamin (1764–1838)
Jacob, III (1767–1845)
John (1770–1820)
Moses (1772–1850)
Joseph (1775–1805)

He then married Elizabeth Kincaid and they had three children:

Lemuel (1782–1810)
David (1784–1805)
Elizabeth (1787–1805)

He died in 1796[3] in Maine at the age of 64.[4]
