NOTES:
Hottel-Keller Cemetery is several yards away from the old Snarr Homestead. It was torn down in 1960 and was a two-story plank House. This information was found in my Grandmother's (Marie Elizabeth Gruber wife of George Thomas Snarr) papers. It is a letter written to her by Jean Snarr Martinsen of Tennessee Colony, Texas on 28 Oct 1968. requesting her assistance in making personal contact with three woman in Los Angeles County, California.

From Daniel Bly's "Bly Family":
"Jacob & Magdalena lived on the Snarr homestead on the headwaters of Toms Brook, near Mount. Olive and were among the founders and original members of the Friedens Evangelical Lutheran and German Reformed Church in 1824."
In regards to the children of Jacob and Magdalena Snarr; at least William, Lydia, Sarah, and Margaret are known to have been born in the Snarr Homestead near Tom's Brook.
