She came from France to the New World as a Fille du Roi (King's Daughter) Jacquette Michel was part of a group of 68 Filles du Roy, the « King’s daughters » that landed in Québec City, aboard the "La Nouvelle-France" on the 3rd of july 1668. Orphan, widow, daughter of Jacques Michel and Jeanne Dupont. She was 30 years old and coming from Sainte-Catherine, on Ré’s Island. On october 14, 1668 André received a land located in Charlesbourg. On october, 23rd, 1668 their marriage was blessed in Notre Dame church in the heart of old Québec City . They all had a good genetic, they have not lost one child. She died on november, 28, 1710.
