James was convicted of buglary to 7 years transportation. He arrived in Sydney Cove on 26/1/1788 on "Charlotte"

James was sent to Norfolk Island on 14/2/1789 on "Supply"

James had a relationship with Ann STEEL in 1791 on Norfolk Island

James returned to Sydney on 7/11/1794

James returned to England on "Harriet" in May 1805
