James C. Berry

He had died by 1666.

William Berry, founder of the family of that name in Southern Maryland, was born on the Eastern Shore of Virginia and was a son of James Berry, who first appears there about 1640.1,2

WEALTH DURING LIFETIME. LAND AT FIRST ELECTION: probably 400 acres in Maryland and 600 acres in Virginia; sold his land in Virginia in 1655 and patented another 900 acres in Maryland in 1658.
