James BRUMBY was born 1771 Scotton, England

James was a soldier and arrived in Sydney Cove on 4/9/1791 on "Brittania".

In 1804 he travelled to Van Diemens Land

James had a relationship with Elizabeth ANNESLEY from 1804 and they married on 18/3/1811 at Launceston. They had the following children

James died 17/9/1838 Longford, Tasmania
