James Carey

James CAREY [Parents] 1 was born 18 Mar 1768. He died 12 Feb 1845. James married Caroline Guille LE MARCHANT on 3 Oct 1805.

He was elected Jurat on 10 May 1810, and was 'Superviseur de la

Chaussee' in 1815-16. He inherited the Bigoterie House from his

father, John (E21).

A Mural Tablet to his memory is on the South Wall of the West

Aisle in theTown Church, Guernsey.

Caroline Guille LE MARCHANT [Parents] 1 married James CAREY on 3 Oct 1805.
