Her father calls her his eldest daughter in his will the wife of James Colbert. This was in Holly Springs, Miss. James Colbert and Caroline Moore were married in Shelby, Co. Tennessee on Jan. 22, 1833 by minister Sam M. Williamson, with Thos. Allen ,as security. James was the brother of Atwood, Sam, George, Molsie and Betsy. He was a Mason and belobnged to the lodge at Doaksville. He came to Old Goodland first, then returned to Mississippi and brought his family to the Choctaw Nation settling where Boggy Creek runs into Red River, 20 miles north of Paris, Texas. Here he cleared land, built a home and slave quarters, and conducted a plantation. Carolind was about 80 when she died. Her grand daughter Mrs. Pound said Carline is buried at Union Chapel, Pound Valley, and that James Colbert was buried at Old Goodland. Their children were James, Sophia, Nathaniel, Christopher Columbus, Rebecca, Jennie Lind
