James Cranston was a Rhode Islander.
James was born in 1661, the son of John Cranston and Mary Clarke. He died 16 Sep 1662, and was buried at Common Burying Ground, Newport, Rhode Island,[1] but other sources say he died 6 Dec 1662.[2]
