MEMORIAL PHOTOS 2 FLOWERS 8 Although this person was likely interred in Guilford's original village cemetery (now the commons and public park in downtown Guilford), no surviving gravestone was known in 1818 when all gravestones at the Village Green, but not the people's remains, were dispersed to other town cemeteries.

"Received a grant of a homelot at Fairfield, entered 29 Jan. 1655/56; purchased part of Joseph Patchen's lot by 22 Apr. 1658; and sold to Thomas Oliver. He sold to Richard Hubbell, 1 Sept. 1665, shortly before removing to Eastchester, N.Y., and he later returned to Guilford, where he died Apr. 1684. Inv. June 1684." Text: p 193
