About James Washington Farmer
Jimpsie was the second son of James and Mary Farmer to be named James. The first James was born in 1864 and died in 1865. Jimpsie married Kate Allen in 1896. His company was the first to deliver coal to residences by truck. He served in the Spanish-American War.
