James Feake

James was born at Wighton, County Norfolk, England. He was the son of James Feake. James married Agnes (?) at England. The family resided in Norfolk County, England. James made his will on 23 January 1539 at Wighton, County Norfolk, England. His made his wife, Agnes, and his con, George, executors. He directs his burial to be "north ile next to the Sepulchee of my father" in the church of Wighton. His son, George, appears to be the oldest yet still a minor. He mentions other sons: Simon, James, Robert & William.2 James was laid to rest in All Saints Church, Wighton, County Norfolk, England, in the north aisle next to the Sepulchee of his father. James departed this life before 18 July 1539 at Wighton, County Norfolk, England. His will was probated on 18 July 1539.

George Feake, clerke, appears on the muster roll for Wighton... appears also in a list of clergy of Norfolk in 35 Elizabeth 1592/3, as rector of Warham Marie, Warham Magdalen, and vicar of Weighton (Norfolk Archaeology 18:99). Warham is a parish very near Wighton.
