BIOGRAPHY Educated at Eton 1761-1766, he became a Tory M.P. for St. Albans 1783-1784, and for Hertfordshire 1784-1790. In 1773 he succeeded his father as 3rd Viscount Grimston and Baron Dunboyne. On 6 July 1790 he was created Baron Verulam of Gorhambury. He died aged sixty-one at Gorhambury in 1808.
