James W. Haddad 1916-2010

Mr. James Haddad, 93, of Plaster Rock passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, May 21st, 2010 surrounded by his loving family. His wife, the former Jeannette Beaulieu predeceased him in 1995. Born at Saint-Leonard in 1916, he was a son of the late Theophile and Leona (Cyr) Haddad.

He is survived by daughters, Catherine Trafton of Kingston, Ontario, Lorna Bucci (Eldred) of Plaster Rock, Vicky Martin of Grimsby, Ontario and Doreen Jensen (Kevin) of New Denmark, daughter-in-law, Judy Haddad (late Douglas) of Stoney Creek, Ontario, 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, sisters and brothers, Fred (Leola) and Jean Beaulieu (Albert) of Plaster Rock, Camille (Dolores) of Ottawa, Roger (late Velma) of Sydney, NS, Irene Dionne (Maurice) of Plaster Rock, Ivan (Wendy) of Radville, Saskatchewan, David (Judy) of Toronto and Ronald of Plaster Rock, sister-in-law, Lela (late Edmund) of Plaster Rock, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two children, Jo Anne and Douglas, grandchildren, Alan and Stewart, brother, Edmund and sister, Emily.

A committal service was held Wednesday, May 26th at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, Plaster Rock with Harold Short-Evans officiating. Pallbearers for the service were Kris Jensen, Jared Delong, Rick Mason, Jason Martin, Randy Deleavey and Dusty Rabatich.

Arrangements were by O'Regan's Funeral Home, Grand Falls.
