On his son Oswald Heenan's birth certificate his occupation is listed as a Mine-Fireman. It also says James Heenan jnr was single at this time. When James Heenan jnr died on 19th Jan 1948 at the age of 62 his occupation is listed as Colliery Waterman. It also says he was single when he died. His nephew David Cunningham registered his death. David's address at the time was 9 Greenrigg Cottage, Harthill. James jnrs death was registered on the 20th of Jan 1948 but a correction was done on 20th Feb 1948. The first death certificate said he was 'Found dead in bed at 9am'. It also says he was 'Last seen alive at 6am'. The corrected certificate says he died 'Between 6am-9am'. Both his parents were dead at this time. His parent were James Heenan snr and Helen Heenan (Maiden name Berry). They were married on 7th Nov 1985/1886 at The Chapel Stane Calderhead District. His father's occupation at the time of James' birth was Roadsman Underground.
