James Henry Farrington died this morning at his home after a few days of illness with Pneumonia. Deceased was 64 years & had been a resident of Rock County for the past 40 years. Four children are left to mourn his loss. Mrs. William Kennedy, Janesville, Wis.; Bernard & Edward, Fulton & James of Crawford County.

Mary Lee came from Boneill, Leitrim, Ireland to Boston, Mass. with her brother Cornelius. Their parents are Patrick & Catherine [Carter] Lee. Younger brother Peter came over later. Mary Ellen traveled west to Janesville, Wisconsin, where she met & married James Henry April 12, 1863, in Egerton, Rock, Wisconsin. They are the parents of 4 children: John Bernard, Catherine, Edward Francis & James Henry.
