William Howard, Sr. planter "being weal of body" Bequeaths to

• 1. Thos Howard, son " to have 1 shilling sterlind & no more of the estate:
• 2. William Howard, son "to have 1 shilling & no more of the estate"
• 3. Peter Howard, son " to have the tract whereon testator now lives called "Twitnum" (?) also "to have 1 feather bed & furn. & the remainder of the estate after widow's decease"
• 4. James Howard, son "Should Peter died w/out heirs, then to have testator's dwelling plantation" also"to have 1 feather bed & furn., 1 iron pot, 1 heifer & no more of the estate:
• 5. Jon Howard, son "to have 1 feather bed & furn., & 1 heifer"
• 6. Rachel Ford, daughter "to have 1 shilling sterling & no more"
• 7. Anne Darth (?), daughter "to have 1 shilling sterling and no more of the estate"
• 8. Margaret Shanks, daughter "to have 1 shilling sterlind & no more of the estate"
• 9. Mary Howard, wife, is named Executrix witn: Robert Lang, John (x) Shurtliff, Peter (x) Shurtliff.
• Then came: Robert Lang & Jno Shurtliff.
• Note: Testator signed will with his mark.
