About James Kelly

James (Jim) Kelly, brother of Ned, the bushranger, died in his sleep early this week near Glenrowan where Ned shot it out with the police and was captured. Jim, who was over 90, was the youngest member of the Kelly family and was not involved in the bushranging life of his brothers. Years ago his memories of the period were eagerly sought by historians and other writers. He was unmarried and lived the life of a recluse with his nephew, Patrick Griffiths, on a farm between Glenrowan and Greta West.
