Text: HUMMEL - James Lee, 76, 1804 Grace Ave., died Dec. 17, 1972, at Prince William Hospital, Manassas, Va. Born June 1, 1896, in Cumberland Va., son of the Rev. Frank P. and Annie (SMITH) HUMMEL. Preceded in death by parents and wife, former Ruth GRAMLING, in September 1972. Survived by these children: Alice, wife of Clyde MILLER, Manassas, Va.; Frank, married to former Grace HARBAUGH, 1804 Grace Ave.; Anna Mae, wife of Bernard HOUSER, Woodbridge, Va.; and James L. Jr., married to former Beverly C. BANTLY, 411 Messenger St.; also eight grandchildren. Veteran of World War I. Retired pensioner of Johnstown Plant, Bethlehem Steel Corp. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Geisel Funeral Home, where funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Charles Ludington.
