Alamo Defender. He took part in the siege of Bexar as a member of Captain William R. Carey's artillery company and later served as secretary to Lieutenant Colonel James C. Neill, commander of the Texan forces occupying Bexar. When the Mexican Army arrived, he entered the Alamo garrison and died in the battle of the Alamo. (bio by: John "J-Cat" Griffith)
