Jim Lenart Dies; Funeral Services Held February 2
Funeral services for Jim Lenart, 49, of West, were held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2 in St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, Rev. Emilian Foltyn officiated. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery at West.
Mr. Lenart died at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, in a Hillsboro hospital.
Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Kotch Funeral Chapel.
Mr. Lenart was born in West and had lived here all his life. He was a member of St. Mary's Church and the KJT Lodge of West. He had been employed by Fleetwood Trailer Co. in Waco for the past six years.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Angeline Lenart; two sons, Billy Joe Lenart and James Lenart, both of West; his mothers, Mrs. Frank Lenart, Sr. of West; one brother, Frank Lenart of Penelope; two sisters, Mrs. Ivan Svrcek of West and Mrs. John J. Sykora of Penelope.
Pallbearers were Albert Charanza of Arlington, Daniel Svrcek and Raymond Lenart, both of West, Bernard Lenart of Abbott, John Girard of Leroy and Antone Lenart of Penelope.
