James Pleasant Morgan [1][2][3][4][5], born in 1781 in Cumberland County, North Carolina, was a son of Diana Hudgins (abt.1730-abt.1814) and John Thomas Morgan (1742-1799).
He married Rebecca Jane Webby Maness in 1805. They had 11 children.
In 1812 this family resided in Moore, North Carolina, United States [6], and continued to reside there from 1820, 1830, and 1840 [7][8][9]
James Pleasant Morgan died on July 26, 1848, in Wilcox, Alabama, at the age of 70.
