From a personal email with Sue of Bytown.net. Researched through Ontario BMD records:
Jame Patrick Curry, born 17 March 1851 in County Clare, Ireland, a son of Patrick Curry and Bridget Carmody, married Ellen Murphy, born in Ontario sometime between 1849 and 1856, a daughter of Daniel Murphy and Ellen Cavanagh in Ottawa at Notre Dame on 2 July 1870 (yes, I know that James says he came to Canada in 1873 - he was wrong or the census-taker misheard him). I do not believe that Ellen was only 13 or 14 when she married as the register says "daughter of age".
