...James-Raymond Johnstone, d. at Alva House, in 1830, and was s. by his eldest son, James Johnstone, of Alva, b. 1801, formerly M.P. for the cos. Kinross and Clackmannan. He m. 1st, 1845. the Hon. Augusta Norton, youngest sister of Lord Grantley, by whom he has issue, Augustus, b. 1847, and Caroline. He m. 2ndly, 1857, Sarah L'Estrange, dau. of Colonel L'EsUunge, of Moystown.
