About James E Schwab
James E. Schwab
James E. Schwab, Sans Souci Trailer Court, Sans Souci Hwy, died Saturday morning at 1:10 in Mercy Hospital where he had been a patient since Tuesday.
He was born in Ashley, son of the late Peter and Mame Schwab. He was a co-owner of the former Acme Electric, Wilkes-Barre, for 45 years. He was a life member of Fraternal Order of Eagles and a member of Knights of St George. He was a member of St. Therese's Church, Wilkes-Barre.
Surviving are his wife, the former Emma Lahr; sons, James and Joseph, both of Wilkes-Barre; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson. Funeral was held Monday morning from the Desiderio Funeral Home, 377 Park Ave., with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Therese's Church. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Township.
