James Tate

James Tate (Teete) was a "Molatto" farmer living with (his wife?) Sarah Teet and children in Westmoreland County in 1801 and head of a Westmoreland County household of 7 "free colored" in 1820. He was about 91 years old the next September when he appeared in Westmoreland County court on 28 January 1833 for a pension for his service in the Revolution.
