About James Townsend, Jr., of Oyster Bay
"A Memorial of John, Henry and Richard Townsend," p. 137, says of him, "James moved to Norwich, not long after his father's death [1698], and is called on the Records James Townsend, Jr. of Norwich.
James3 Townsend, Jr., son of James2 Townsend, son of John Townsend I, and wife Hannah (Halsead) Townsend, went later in life to Birmingham, Chester, PA. where both left wills.
