- This family is one of the oldest in Gloucestershire.
- i. John de Monmouth, Baron of Monmouth, married, first, Cecily, daughter and co-heiress of William Walleran; and secondly, Agnes, daughter and co-heiress of Wm. de Musgros, and had issue,
- i. John de Monmouth, who married, first, Maud, daughter of David, Earl of Huntingdon, and had issue, a daughter;
- married, secondly, Catherine . He died before 1274.
- ii. Richard de Wyesham, ancestor of the Wyeshams. (ii does this means twins, Richard and James)
