Lisa and her husband, Neil Murray, who grew up in Johannesburg, where they first met, and who worked for John, at the time, moved onto the farm not long after he died and continue to live there. They have three beautiful children; Luke John, 25 years old, works with Neil in his successful business, designing and manufacturing sawmills, as well as crafting magnificent furniture. Leah Sarah, 23 years old, is in her 5th year of medicine at Stellenbosch University and Amy Louise, 20, is in her 3rd year at Stellenbosch University, doing a degree in Humanities. Over the past 17 years, Lisa has created an incredible gift/craft shop on the N2 called ‘The Heath’, that has grown to include a furniture business and a restaurant (recently sold).

Jodi married Alastair Gordon-Forbes in May 1987 and they have three children.
Cameron John, 19 years old, has just finished Matric and is about to embark on a Science degree at Rhodes University, in Grahamstown. Skye, 16, is doing an art Matric, close to home in Muizenburg, Cape Town. The youngest child, Duncan Alastair, 11 years old is at the Waldorf School. All of them are beautiful and even though they never met their grandfather they feel his loss greatly. Skye, in particular, has often been in tears over the fact that John hasn’t formed a part of her growing up process.
