Jan Albert van Niekerk

Death Notice: TAB MHG 754/43 (1943)

It is rather unlikely that he was the son of G M van Niekerk and M J Barnard or his Date of Baptism is incorrect:

(1) His own Death Notice gives a different set of parents

(2) G M van Niekerk and M J Barnard only married in 1846, so it seems unlikely Jan Albert (born 1844) would have been born from this marriage.
