Jan Janse Jr., bp. July 17,1681; m Lena or Helena (sup.) Duryea. Resided in Flatlands, and deacon of the Dutch church of said place in 1721. A Jan van Nuyse of Flatlands bought Arpil 28, 1722, of Enouch Freeland 100 acres, now within the bounds of New Brunswick, New Jersey, on which it is supposed he settled. Issue:
- Isaac, bp. March 9, 1708, in Brooklyn;
- Jacobus, bp. Oct. 17, 1725, in New Utrecht; and
- James - all of New Jersey.
