About Jane Becher
- Jane Becher was the only daughter of Charles Becher and his wife Jane Hungerford. She was baptised on the 10th August 1727 at Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire.
- Both of Jane's brothers died very young; Charles was 8, Henry was only an infant.
- Jane was a beneficiary in her father will, but a note added that her mother had died leaving much of the estate unadministered and that Jane was now the lawful wife of James Rolt, but died in 1743, still a minor.
- A POSSIBLE burial at Bromham, Wiltshire, 1743, 10 Dec Mrs Jane Rolt, the wife of James Rolt.
