Phillip Buckner married Jane (Aylett) Robinson, widow of Christopher Robinson. She renounced her first husband's will in Caroline Co. in 1742. The earliest known record of Phillip is from 1746 (NS) when he was a church warden of St. David's parish in King William Co., which is where Jane's family was from. In 1751, Phillip sold the King William property and the family moved to Louisa Co. VA. Phillip's will was probated in 1762 in Louisa Co. Jane (a.k.a. Jean)'s will was probated in Orange Co. VA in 1789. The two wills give the list of children. Since Judith is not listed in Phillip's will, she was presumably born after it was written in the middle of 1761; Phillip's estate was put in administration (under their eldest son William) in 1772, perhaps as a consequence of having omitted this last daughter. Aylett apparently died before Jane's will was written in 1787.
