- William Field agrees that, on his marrage with Jane Burdett, of the Carhead, Yorks., widow, sister of Edward Sotwell, he will settle £100 on Jane, to be paid her one month after his death. He further agrees to enter into bonds with Edward Sotwell, with conditions to pay to Jane Burdett's children £100 between them, and to bring up and educate the said children.
