Hobson, whose serious illness was announced in our last issue, passed away on Saturday afternoon (Oec. 10) from inflam-mation of the lungs at the age of seventy-two. In her demise Whitby loses another of its old residents.

The funeral will leave the residence of Mr. J. J. Hobson, Brock Street south, on Monday, Dec. 12th at 3 o'clock p.m. and proceed to St. John's (bay) church.
