Mrs. Jane Kennedy, Succumbs Near Birds Run at Age of 93-Burial Saturday. Mrs. Jane Kennedy, aged 93 years, known as "Grandma" Kennedy, succumbed at the home of her only child, George Kennedy, near Birds Run yesterday morning at 7 o'clock. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10 o'clock from the home with interment to be made in Mt. Herman cemetery.Had she lived until May 1, Mrs. Kennedy would have been 93 years of age. She was a devout Christian, a member of the Mt. Herman U. P. Church and had been a resident of Guernsey County nearly all of her life. Mrs. Kennedy was well known and even in her advanced years was sociable and kind toward all who knew her. The infirmaties of years complicated to cause of death.
