• The Date Mar 2, 1678. We repaired to the waterside of the hill after Church service, then Reverand Brother Hicox baptized George Lanphere and he came out of the water rejoicing, and his wife went into the water but was fainthearted and came out unbaptized. source: William G. Smith. Children

There is no proof at all (though the miracle of copiers tell us otherwise) of the existance of a Jane Hulet, even less as a wife of George (1) Lanphear.
