Biography

Joan (or Jane) was born about 1480. She was the daughter of Robert Plumpton and Agnes Gascoigne.

Married Sir Richard Malyverer, son and heir to Sir Thomas.

2. Thomas. Married Elenor, daughter to Sir Henry Owtred, Knight.

Origins

Sir Robert Plumpton, Knt., (b. c. 1453 - d. 1523), was the son of Sir William Plumpton and Joan Wintringham. His first wife was Agnes Gascoigne, daughter of William Gascoigne and Joan Neville. He remarried to Isabella Nevill. (bef. 1505) Isabella, dau. of Ralph, Lord Nevill. “She married Robert Plumpton circa 18 Sep 1505.” She remar. Laurence Kighley, of New Hall as his second wife.
